BFG is offering an exciting, hands-on oppty for several positions, to join, a small, emerging, young WOMEN'S Brazilian swimwear, surfwear, and intimates designer label, to help promote our 2011 preview collection for the US & Europe during winter 2010 - 2011, & to assist to launch our full collections for Spring / Summer 2011. No previous exp required, but must have strong communication and computer skills plus the ability to perform under pressure is required. Ideal oppty for bright, outgoing & enthusiastic candidates, to gain exp on the job starting Summer / fall 2010.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS :

ASSISTANT SWIMWEAR DESIGNERS :

BFG is looking for fresh new design talent. Work closely with VP for development for high end swimwear as well as surfwear collections. You will focus on creating new styles, research new trends/color direction. Create and Manage proper production of garments. Applicants must have strong fabric, fit, and styling development, Working knowledge of fabrics construction, Pattern-making, Mac Design experience, in Illustrator, Graphic Design knowledge a plus, Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop skills a plus.

Excellent sense of color / fabric direction is required.

GRAPHIC ARTIST : USA

Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator/FreeHand. Skilled in print design. Must possess general graphic skills to create logos, labels, hangtags, and other brand identity items, including presentation boards.

INTERNSHIPS

PA : (personal assistant) to our Creative Director. Seeking bilingual candidates from BRAZIL, JAPAN, EUROPE, and the USA (USA candidates; only english is required). Some of your duties would include: Assist in researching retail locations .

Assist in coordinating promotional events for our 2011 preview collection, as well as our full collection launch for 2011.

Travel with & assist our creative Director during trips within the US, and some travel to Europe, Asia, and South America

Assist in scouting locations for photo shoots .

Assist in coordinating model castings & test shoots .

Assist in coordinating model castings & test shoots.

PR ( public relations person) to coordinate with our PA, & assist in Public relations etc.

(2). Candidates chosen for job positions must be able to travel to and work from Hawaii, Miami Beach, or Paris (accomodations will be provided for interns only).
